As a real estate group owner, investor and manager, we are aware of the impact we have on the environment, economy, and society, which is why it was crucial for us to develop and implement a sustainability strategy that focuses on reducing our environmental footprint while promoting social responsibility and ensuring sustainable economic growth.

As AYA is passionate about creating vibrant and connected communities, where well-being plays a central role in the design and development assessment of every potential investment project, it was natural for us to align our mission, vision, and values with ESG principles and integrate ESG factors into our day-to-day business.

E from Environmental

Minimize the impact of our buildings on the environment – we plan to reduce GHG emissions; efficiently use resources and land; prevent and mitigate climate change impacts on buildings developments and impacts on biodiversity.

AYA is committed to the real estate assets in its portfolio to reach near-zero emissions by 2025 and planning for a net zero carbon future in 2050. Towards this, we have established the following objectives:

  • Assess operational GHG Emissions (kgCO2/m2/year) of all properties in our portfolio

  • Reach Near Zero Operational GHG Emissions (kgCO2/m2/year) for all properties in our portfolio, in order to align with the Paris agreement and reduce global warming to 2°C

  • Monitor the whole life cycle GHG emissions in order to plan for a net zero carbon future in 2050

  • Align the residents of our properties with the EU taxonomy guidelines by making a substantial contribution towards climate change mitigation and causing no significant harm toward the other 5 environmental objectives

AYA Properties Fund is a real estate investment fund focused on the Central and Eastern European market. The fund was established in 2022 and concentrates on high quality and sustainable real estate assets (offices, logistics, residential, PRS) in AAA-locations with top-tier tenants.
